Deidre graduated in 1963 from Robert E. Lee HS and was recipient of the Betty Crocker scholarship award in her senior year. She loved to bake and cook. She worked for the State Welfare Department in the late 1970's until she began work civil service in 1978 for SARPMA at Ft Sam Houston. She made many life-long friendships throughout her life.
